The candle holder bears the Hebrew writing 'Bore Meorey Haesh' meaning 'He who created the light of the fire', the spice box reads, 'Bore Minei Besamim' meaning 'He who created the sweet-smelling spices', and the tray has an inscription 'Hamavdil' meaning 'The blessing of Havdalah' and a tasteful flower pattern. The Havdalah set is used at the ceremony which comes at the end of Shabbat and after certain holy days. During the ceremony certain prayers are recited with each item. This item is designed and handcrafted by the artist Shraga Landesman in Israel.
