The "Ben Porat Yosef" was a blessing Jacob gave to his son Yosef, the solver of dreams. The blessing acted as a virtue against the evil eye and negativity. This pendant has one of the 72 divine names of Hashem, "Aleph, Lamed, Dalet", on the key blade. The meaning is protection against the evil eye and that which removes obstacles and negativity. Hashem is said to have 72 divine names formed from 3 verses in Sefer Shmot. The ancient Kabbalist Rav Shimon bar Yochai wrote in the Zohar that it was Moses, not God, who parted the Red Sea, allowing the Israelites to narrowly escape Pharaoh and the Egyptian army. In order to accomplish this miracle, Moses combined the power of certainty with a very powerful spiritual technology. He had possession of a formula that literally gave him access to the subatomic realm of nature.
This will make a lovely gift for Bar Mitzvahs.
