A beautifully designed gray Hanukkah dreidel by Adi Sidler, spiral in form and made of anodized aluminum.
The traditional Hanukkah dreidel has gone contemporary in this skillfully handcrafted piece by Adi Sidler. Specially made, the gray anodized aluminum will not scratch or chip. The stem is silver in color, capped with blue dot and comes with a square base. Laser cut from the spiral form the Hebrew letters, Nun, Gimmel, Hey and Pay represent: “Nes Gadol Haya Po” which translates to “A great miracle happened here’.
Born in Israel and having graduated with honors from the Bezalel Academy of Art in Jerusalem, Adi Sidler, received many scholarships and honors in the field of object design and metalwork. Now one of Israel’s emerging Judaica artists, his works are commonly defined by minimal lines with a polished look and are skillfully handcrafted with industrial, production methods like metal chip processing and laser cutting. Many of his creations are made with anodized aluminum, but he’s also known to join other materials such as Lucite, wood, paper, rubber and more.
