Based out of her studio in Tel Aviv, British-Israeli artist Laura Cowan handcrafts unique and modern pieces of Judaica, including mezuzahs, Seder plates and kiddush cups. Inspired by the space race and the quest to land a man on the moon, many of Cowan's creations feature a futuristic design while drawing inspiration from the past. World-renowned for her works, one of Laura Cowan's mezuzahs was even brought by astronaut Greg Chamitoff to the International Space Station in 2008.
