Brass Mezuzah with 19th Century Polish Esther Scroll Design

This brass Mezuzah features a complex floral pattern that includes birds and was created in Poland in the 19th Century. The Mezuzah has four small birds on the sides together with leaves, flowers and complex scrollwork. The top of the Mezuzah features a small Hebrew letter Shin that appears in a traditional font and sits atop a flower blossom. The top and bottom of this Mezuzah features discs that have inscribed lines and are attached to faux rollers. This item is a perfect gift for a housewarming or wedding!

Mezuzahs are frequently decorated with a wide range of designs. This Mezuzah features a design that was first inscribed on a silver Megillat Esther (Scroll of Esther) Case that was used to hold a parchment scroll with the text of the book written on it.

This Mezuzah comes with a certificate from the Israel Museum as well as a small pamphlet with background information in Hebrew and English.
