Israeli Independence Day
Israel Independence Day, or Yom Ha’Atzmaut, celebrates the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948. To many, the establishment of the state marked the end of a state of exile with the establishment of the first Jewish state in nearly 2000 years. The day is celebrated on the Jewish calendar on the 5th day of the month of Iyyar that typically occurs during the months of April and May each year. Yom Ha’Atzmaut is widely celebrated in Jewish communities around the world. World of Judaica offers many products that can be worn, displayed or otherwise used to celebrate this holiday.
If you are interested in displaying the Israeli flag in support of Israel and in celebration of the holiday, consider a flag in one of several sizes. Or consider ribbons that have miniature flags attached. World of Judaica offers other items with the Israeli flag on it such as straws and toothpicks as well as t-shirts, hats, necklaces and decorative items for the home such as Hamsas and Mezuzahs.
If you would like a unique item, consider an Israel themed t-shirt. These shirts come in several different colors and sizes and feature insignias of the State of Israel, statements such as “I like Israel” and “Am Israel Chai” in Hebrew and English. We offer shirts for men, women and children alike. Or consider a baseball cap decorated with similar embroidered decorations. These shirts are great gifts and a way to celebrate the birth of the State of Israel.
World of Judaica also offers Israeli music in honor of the holiday. The discs come in a three volume and feature folksongs from the early years of the state composed by artists such as Naomi Shemer and performed by artists such as Yehoram Gaon and Ofra Haza. This item is a great way to experience the early years of the State of Israel and learn about Israeli culture.
