Diamond Appraisals

What is an Appraisal?
An appraisal is an assessment performed by an individual such as a third party jeweler who looks at different characteristics of an item to determine its approximate market value. Typically an appraisal will result in a document documenting everything about your item’s value. Appraisals are usually required to get insurance on valuable items such as diamonds and sterling silver items.

Where Can I Get an Appraisal?
World of Judaica recommends that you have an appraisal performed immediately after purchase. Our customer service agents are available to help you through the process. We can find an appraiser in your area for you or give you an overview of what to expect during the appraisal process, including tell you which questions you should ask and how much you can expect to pay for an appraisal.

World of Judaica Appraisals
Upon the purchase of diamond jewelry or other items that exceed $1500 in value, World of Judaica will give you a complementary appraisal. Following your order’s processes, you’ll receive an appraisal report from one of our certified appraisers. If you have any other questions about diamonds or the appraisal process, feel free to contact our customer service department.
