Silver Mezuzah Case with 17th Century Augsburg Tanakh Design

This silver Mezuzah Case features a design found on the Tanakh printed in Augsburg, Germany in the 17th Century and has a divine name of G-d in the center.

This beautiful silver Mezuzah Case is decorated with an intricate scrollwork pattern that also includes floral designs and outlines of hearts. The center of the Mezuzah features the Hebrew letters Shin, Daled and Yud that spell out the divine name of G-d and appear in a traditional Hebrew language font. This Mezuzah can hold a small sized piece of parchment and is based on an Italian Renaissance-era design. This item is a great holiday idea!

Bibles and other books were once bound using metal covers, especially silver. This Mezuzah is based on a Tanakh whose design was inspired by the Italian Renaissance.
