  A blow to the Hamas military wing: Arab media is reporting that Muhammad Dababash, one of the terrorist organizations top officials, has been arrested in Cairo. Dababash is a party to many Hamas secrets, including weapons smuggling into Gaza, the shooting of rockets at Eilat and Aqaba, and assassination of Fatah officials. Hamas is concerned about the ramifications of the arrest.

  Atmosphere of optimism with Prime Minister Netanyahu’s return from the summit with Mahmoud Abbas in Washington? Not so fast. Israel intends to cancel the first meeting between the heads of the respective negotiating teams that was supposed to take place tomorrow, after the Palestinian side leaked word of the talks to the media.

That being so, Erekat has not been seen much lately these last few years at all, as negotiations have been few and far between, as have been the bombings.

According to Iranian Vice President for Parliamentary Affairs Mohammed-Rez Mir-Tajeddini, Israel “runs a global economic cartel that is constantly establishing new companies under new brands.”

  This just in:Defense Minister Ehud Barak has just published his decision to appoint Head of Southern Command, Major General Yoav Galant, the next IDF Chief of Staff. Galant, 52, has been in the IDF since 1977 when he was 19, starting out in the Israeli equivalent of the Navy Seals, Shayetet 13, the self same unit involved in the Gaza Flotilla affair. He became head of Southern Command in 2005, and was instrumental in planning and executing Gaza Operation Cast Lead in January 2009.
