Sterling Silver Pendant with Ancient Priestly Blessing Scroll

This sterling silver pendant is modeled after ancient silver scrolls that had the Priestly Blessing inscribed on them in ancient Hebrew script.

This sterling silver pendant features a unique rectangle shape and has been molded to look like an ancient scroll. The scroll features Hebrew text that appears on the front in ancient Hebrew script and includes the Priestly Blessing that appears in the Torah in the Book of Numbers (Bamidbar). This pendant comes with a chain that is attached to the back. This item is a great Bat Mitzvah gift idea!

The Priestly Blessing is a divine blessing that G-d transmitted to Moses in the Torah and is recited in the Synagogue by Kohanim – the descendants of Aaron – every day in Israel and during important holidays in the Diaspora. This scroll pendant is based on a scroll whose text dates back to when the final kings of Judah ruled over Jerusalem and was found in a burial cave in Ketef Hinom outside the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem.

This pendant comes with a certificate from the Israel Museum as well as a small pamphlet with background information in Hebrew and English.
