Silver Plated Pendant with “Tzion” and 19th Century Star of David

This silver plated pendant is shaped like a traditional Star of David and has the word “Tzion” in the center that is surrounded by Hebrew letters.

This silver plated pendant has been formed to look like a Star of David that is made up of two intertwined triangles and the Hebrew word “Tzion” in the center that means “Zion” in English. The pendant also features inscribed Hebrew letters by each point of the star that spells out the name of the angel “Taftafia” in Hebrew. This item is an excellent Bar or Bat Mitzvah gift idea!

The Star of David is one of the traditional symbols of Judaism and has been a symbol of divine protection for centuries. The star has also been attached to Kabbalistic teachings which increased its popularity as a symbol of protection, success and other blessings. The word “Zion” that appears in the center became popular during the latter half of the 19th Century with the Zionist reawakening.

This pendant comes with a certificate from the Israel Museum as well as a small pamphlet with background information in Hebrew and English.
