Silver Pendant with 18th Century Persian Childbirth Amulet

This silver pendant features the first letter of the words of Psalm 121 on the front together with the name of Jochebed, the mother of Moses, Aaron and Miriam and has an 18th century Persian design.

This silver pendant is oriental diamond shaped and has been inscribed on the front with lines and Hebrew text. The Hebrew text on this pendant features the fir letter of each of the words of Psalm 121 that is said as a prayer during situations both positive and negative and especially during events such as childbirth. The center of the pendant features the name Jochebed, the mother of Moses, Aaron and Miriam who has easy childbirths as well as other Kabbalistic codes. This pendant was modeled after an amulet made in eighteenth century Persia. This item is a great gift for a new mother!



This pendant comes with a certificate from the Israel Museum as well as a small pamphlet with background information in Hebrew and English.
