This set of silver plated cufflinks has been decorated on the front with a depiction of the Phoenician god Melqarth, the god of Tyre and the god of storms. The depiction appears in a three dimensional relief and the front of the cufflinks are designed to look like ancient coins. This item is an ideal wedding or Bar Mitzvah gift idea!

The coin this cufflink set is based on is an ancient Shekel that was minted during the first century CE in Tyre and was found at the Qumran excavations that revealed a massive hoard of 561 silver coins.
