This silver plated set of cufflinks features a large, detailed eagle on the front side together with an inscription in Greek and several palm branches.

This silver plated Cufflink set features a large eagle on the front side in the center that has detailed wings, body and claws at the bottom. The cufflinks also features a Greek inscription that reads “King Demetrius” as well as numerous palm branches and wheat sheaves. This item is a great Bar Mitzvah gift idea!


Eagles have been long associated with power and have been the symbol of numerous nations around the world. The design on this cufflink set dates to the first century CE in Tyre and has inscriptions in Greek on the front and back. The original coin the cufflinks are based on were found in Qurmran and date to 126-127 CE.



This set of cufflinks comes with a certificate from the Israel Museum as well as a small pamphlet with background information in Hebrew and English.
