This white ceramic plate features a roster, hen and wheat sheaves in the center and has Yiddish Text on the outer rim together with a Star of David.

This white ceramic plate has been decorated on the outer rim with Yiddish Text that reads “Broyt fleish und fish izt freilich bein tish and means “Bread, meat and fish bring happiness to the table” in English and is accented by a small traditional Star of David. The center of the plate features a rooster hen and wheat sheaves and is based on a design that came from 19th Century Russia.
This item is an excellent gift for a housewarming!



This plate comes with a certificate from the Israel Museum as well as a small pamphlet with background information in Hebrew and English.
