An intensely dark Merlot, this wine is Kosher for Passover and all year round.
The Dalton Merlot grapes, carefully selected in early September in the Galilee region, are frequently pumped over throughout fermentation. The wine is then pressed and placed into 2-3 year-old pure French barrels and aged for just under a year.
Dalton Merlot presents itself in an intense, dark purple color. It contains plum, cherry, clove, and jam tones, combined with the delicate vanilla flavor of French Oak. Dalton suggests the wine be served with lasagna, casseroles, grilled meats, and barbecued steaks and chicken.
Suggested serving temperature is 61 – 64 degrees F.
